Disney Movie Club will release full season Blu-Ray sets of Chip ‘n Dale: save the rangers and Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, marking the first time that a Complete Series has been released in HD exclusively from Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer Club.
What is happening:
- The latest Disney Movie Club exclusive Blu-Ray releases are complete 6-disc sets from two Disney Television Animation projects.
- Available now is the complete series of Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure (also known as Tangled: The Series), which took place on disney channel for three seasons from 2017 to 2020 and featured new music by Alan Menken.
- The output in 6 discs of Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure includes all 60 episodes, plus the TV movie that started the series, Entangled: before always after.
- Two DVD compilations have been previously released from Tangled: The Series, but this is the first time that the entire series has been released on disc.
- On January 25, 2022, the classic Disney Afternoon Chip ‘n Dale: save the rangers will present all 65 episodes in HD on 6 discs.
- Two DVD volumes were previously released, which featured the first 51 episodes. This will mark the start of the episodes 52-65 home video.
- Technical specifications are not available. Chip ‘n Dale: save the rangers is currently broadcast on Disney + in HD where it was cropped from its original 4: 3 presentation to fill a 16: 9 TV format.
- There is also no information available at this time on bonus features, which are generally not expected for exclusive Disney Movie Club releases.
