Duo Black Feathers, Song Club Performance Set

PORT TOWNSEND – Rainshadow Recording is hosting performances tonight and Friday night in Port Townsend.

The Black Feathers, a UK-based singer-songwriter duo, perform at the Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road, at 7.30pm tonight.

The Black Feathers are Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler, who combine Americana, folk and acoustic Indie rock sensibilities.

Having already built up a loyal following in the UK, The Black Feathers have spread their wings across the US

The duo performed at the Philadelphia Folk Festival and AmericanaFest, and also received official showcases at the North East Regional and Far-West Folk Alliance conferences.

Friday night, Song Club Live! will perform at the Wheeler Theater in Fort Worden State Park at 7:30 p.m.

The Friday Night Song Club is a collective of songwriters from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

This will be the Song Club’s second live broadcast.

Celebrating over 70 episodes of Song Club Radio Hour, Song Club Live will feature performances from MarCo, Wilderness Carwash, Von Wildenhaus, Memory Land, Night Wizards, Nico Janssen, Caleb Thompson and Stephen Gilbert, among others.

This concert series is produced by Rainshadow Recording as part of a new collaboration with Matt Miner, former producer of the Northwind Songs concert series held at the Northwind Arts Center before the pandemic.
