Phil Olson’s comedy “Birthday Club” runs April 22 through May 15 at the Hill Country Community Theater, 4003 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores. Tickets are on sale online and are $25 for adults and $15 for students with valid ID.
Performances take place at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 2:30 p.m. on Sundays.
“Birthday Club” follows the story of five women – Cheryl, Kathy, Abbie, Emily and Sarah – who have a tradition of celebrating their birthdays together every year. Whether the characters are dealing with marriage issues, dealing with strict religious beliefs, or flirting with their handsome neighbor during meetings, this catchy comedy is sure to leave audiences angry.
The show stars Brigid Cooley, Ocean Leigh, Sharon Penny, Bebe Rocha and Sally Stemac. Karin Fraser is the director.
