Ursula Sereghy compiles Buy Music Club playlist ahead of Lunchmeat Festival

Ahead of her performance at the Lunchmeat Festival tonight in Prague, local Czech musician Ursula Sereghy is putting together a Buy Music Club playlist.

“This is a list of my favorite songs. I started with the Polish and Czech scene then I melted into the beauty of the music and the geopolitical context vanished. It is therefore only coherent for my taste and not conceptual. These artists make great music and are on small labels, but cannot pay rent on what they do.

Ursula’s earliest musical experiences saw her performing live in jazz groups as a self-taught saxophonist before expanding her repertoire to modular synthesis, using Synth Library Prague – a community space for women, women and men. non-binary and trans people to practice and record music using music equipment donated to the project by Erika Synths, Bastl Instruments and Arturia.

His newly released album, ‘Agreement box‘, for the Czech imprint Gin & Platonic presents a dizzying approach to sound, chaotic and frenzied but also with a clear and precise vision. It’s a sound identity that is reflected in her selections for her playlist, featuring some of Ursula’s favorite songs, mostly from little-known artists from Czechia, Poland and the surrounding areas, such as SHAPE Platform artist Julek. Ploski, music from Ploski’s Glamor label, and more. on Gin & Platonic.

Inverted Audio is an official Lunchmeat media partner and we’ll be on hand to give you all the information you need and show you the best songs afterwards.
